Purpose: The purpose of Stow Alliance Preschool is to help each child develop into the person God intends for him or her to be by providing a loving, caring, Christian environment. We recognize that each child is unique and we will provide a variety of experiences to encourage his or her social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual development.
About SAP: The preschool is owned by Stow Alliance Fellowship and is located on the main level of the church at 4460 Stow Road. Stow, Ohio. The preschool is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services. Each of our classes has a qualified teacher and an assistant.
Our Stow Alliance Preschool teaching team has over 20 combined years of experience in the field of education. The children are given the time and encouragement to instill a love of learning that will continue on throughout their educational career. We strive to provide a learning environment that allows all children to learn through a variety of experiences such as: Bible stories, creative arts, literacy, socio dramatic activities, music, science, and many other ways they can explore the environment around them. We encourage children to reach their educational potential and have the readiness skills needed for Kindergarten.
Ages and Classes: Children must be 3 years old to register in a 3 year old class and 4 years old to register in a Pre-K class. Children will be evaluated at the end of the year to determine what class is appropriate for the following year. All children must be toilet trained to attend preschool. An orientation time for parents will be held prior to the opening of preschool. Classes run from mid September through mid May. The following classes are available: Stow Alliance Preschool 2017-2018 School Year Classes
What You Might Expect: During a typical day, each classroom follows the same basic schedule. The students will engage in Bible time, circle time (calendar, weather, story, etc.), snack time, music, language arts, arts & crafts, and time in our playroom. Once a month we have a guest from the Stow Library come and spend a half hour reading stories and lead engaging activities for the students. We also take occasional fun and educational field trips amongst a variety of other activities, classroom parties, and a graduation ceremony.
Safety: Because we firmly believe is creating a safe and secure environment for your child, every entrance at Stow Alliance Fellowship is locked at all times with security cameras in place as well. We have a secure drop off and pick up procedure that is enforced to ensure the proper safety of each child. For further information regarding our safety policy, please contact Jeanne Crowe.
Open House: SAP will host an open house on Tuesday, January 30th from 10:00am-12:00pm and 6:0o-8:00pm. If you or someone you know has a preschooler, this is the perfect opportunity to visit our preschool.
